Fair Housing
Last updated October 6, 2026
HomeRiva is an equal housing opportunity provider. We follow the federal Fair Housing Act, the Washington Law Against Discrimination and local fair housing laws in every listing, tour, application and lease.
Nondiscrimination
We do not discriminate against anyone because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status or disability, which are protected under federal law. Under Washington law, we also do not discriminate because of creed, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, citizenship or immigration status, honorably discharged veteran or military status, the use of a trained dog guide or service animal, or source of income. Some cities and counties protect additional classes, and we follow those laws where our homes are located.
Screening applied the same way
We use the same written screening criteria for every applicant, and we share them before you apply so you know what we look for. See What you need to qualify.
Reasonable accommodations
People with disabilities may ask for reasonable accommodations in our rules, policies or services, or for reasonable modifications to a home. Contact us and we will respond promptly.
